My name is Claudia Reid and I am from Queens New York and I moved to Florida to take my life in a different direction. I left everything I knew how to do with my eyes close to come to a different way of life. I have always dreamed of living in Florida permanently and doing so many amazing things. I love to write about things I see,hear and definitely feel. I want to show you the things that I find to be great and absolutely nuts in Jacksonville, FL. I don't know if its because of where I came from and I don't understand certain things or they are what they are. The people I have met in Jacksonville have been such a blessing and some have been a curse but it is my home now and I am feeling the love, fear and the hate at times but its my home and I have to love JAX in order to make JAX return its love to me. JAX and I are getting to know each other and sometimes it hard and sometimes its great. Im not used to country life because I come from the city that never sleeps. I have been here for 90 days and I have a terrific job and a beautiful apartment in an awesome area... so why am I feeling out of place sometimes when I have what I want and more?
